We only collect personal data in cases where it is relevant for us, and we will only collect personal data if it is relevant to your activity with Scanket A/S.

Information we collect

If you wish to buy and receive a product or service from us, we need to collect certain personal data in order to complete the transaction and to offer you our services. We may use cookies to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart while you use our webshop.

We may collect information such as name, email address, postal address, delivery address (if it differs from the postal address), phone number and payment details.

Scanket A/S collects and processes your personal data when you do the following:

Legal basis and purpose

We collect your ordinary contact details such as name and address in order to deliver the product or service you have purchased from us. We collect your email address in order to send you an order confirmation and a delivery confirmation.

When you pay for your product or service, we collect your name, card data and IP address. The information collected in connection with the payment transaction is only used and stored for payment processing and fulfilment of the agreement entered into. When processing payments, some of your data is passed on to Stripe, including information necessary to complete or support the payment, such as the total purchase amount and billing information.

If you have given us your consent during the registration process or on our website, we use your email address to send a newsletter. You can subscribe to and unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. All newsletters also contain an unsubscribe link. If processing of personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw the consent at any time.

If you do not wish to provide the personal data required to complete a purchase of a product, you will unfortunately not be able to buy products from us on our website.

Your information (except your email address, if you have consented to processing it for the purpose of receiving offers) will be deleted 5 years after you have received your product or service.

Other recipients of personal data

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not transfer your personal data to third countries.

If you choose to review our website, your name and email address will be transferred to the review site Trustpilot.

Our website is hosted with Vercel, and your personal data is stored in our database and file storage at Supabase (data centres in the EU/Ireland). In addition to Vercel and Supabase, we use the following data processors: Stripe (payment), Resend (sending emails) and Shipmondo (shipping and delivery) — and, only if you give consent, Google (analytics) and Meta (marketing). All act as our data processors.

We use external companies as suppliers to deliver our services as well as possible. These external suppliers are data processors and in certain cases process personal data in connection with their delivery of services to us. Our data processors only process personal data according to our instructions and in accordance with the legal requirements for data processors.

We have entered into data processing agreements with our data processors, which is our guarantee that they comply with applicable rules on the protection of your personal data.

Your rights

As the registered person, you have a number of rights which we must ensure are fulfilled at all times. You have the right to request the following from us:

• To access and have your personal data corrected/changed
• To have personal data deleted

You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
